2 09-04-2013 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State.
The petitioner seeks bail in Mufassil P.S. case No.266
of 1999 (S.T. No.809 of 2010) instituted for the offence under
Sections 25(1-B)AC/26(ii)(iii)/35 of the Arms Act.
Considering that the Petitioner kept absconding for a
number of years, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for bail is rejected.
The Trial Court (Adhoc A.D.J. 1 st , Munger) is directed to
expedite the trial, for which reason he shall send a list of the
witnesses fixing specific dates for production of each of the
witnesses along with a copy of this order to the S.P., Munger and
the S.P., Munger is directed to ensure production of the witnesses
on the date so fixed by the Trial Court so that there is no further
delay in trial.
