The petitioner is one of the named accused of the case registered under sections 304B, 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code. Informant’s daughter Radhika Devi was married six years earlier with the younger brother of the petitioner. Three daughters and one son were born after the wedlock. The informant’s daughter was being tortured by her husband in connection with dowry related demand. It has been alleged that she has been killed by son-in-law and the petitioner has assisted in disposal of the dead body.
