| 2 | 10-07-2013 | Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned APP for the State. 2. The petitioner is in custody since 26.5.2013 in connection with Complaint Case No. 2416 of 2010 for the alleged offences under Sections 498A IPC. 3. The allegation is with regard to demand of a motor cycle by way of dowry and torture for non-fulfillment thereof. 4. It is submitted that the marriage of the complainant was solemnized with the petitioner in November, 2008 after which a child was born in 2009, but did not survive beyond a month. According to the petitioner, prior to filing of the instant Complaint Case, he himself filed Complaint Case No. 1168 of 2010 indicating that the complainant did not want to reside with the petitioner under the influence of her relatives. It is further submitted that the petitioner is still ready and willing to keep the complainant with him with due dignity and honour. 5. In the aforesaid facts let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Purnea in connection with Complaint Case No. 2416 of 2010. |
