The petitioner has been arrested in connection with S.T. No. 513 of 2010 arising out of Bettiah Town P.S. Case No. 299 of 2010 registered under Sections 341, 324, 326, 307 and 498A of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Earlier by order dated 30.03.2012 bail petition of the petitioner was rejected with a direction to expedite the trial.

However, a report has been received from the trial court. From the report it is apparent that eight witnesses have already been examined and only four witnesses are remained to be examined including the doctor and I.O. and two non-official witnesses are yet to be examined against whom non-bailable warrant has been issued.

Having regarding to the fact and circumstance, the Superintendent of Police, West Champaran, Bettiah, is directed to

produce the witnesses on day to day basis for early disposal of the case and trial court shall proceed on day to day basis and disposed of the case within a period of four months. However, if the trial is not conclude within a period of four months, then petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.

Accordingly, the bail petition is disposed off.
