Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the counsel for the State.

In the second supplementary show-cause, which has been filed on behalf of respondent-State, especially the District Magistrate, Saran, the details of payments with list of names of the persons, whose boats were requisitioned, the details of cheque number has been given and this according to respondents is sufficient compliance of the direction of the Court.

Counsel for the petitioners submits that they are at a loss with regard to the calculation, in absence of details or the mechanism, by which this figure has been arrived at.

If that be so, it is not a case for proceeding in contempt, but, the application is disposed off with a direction upon the District Magistrate, Saran that he will

depute somebody responsible, who has been associated with the calculation part and payments to the various boatman, who will explain the calculation on which the claim has been settled in case claimants approach him in this regard. They are even given a liberty to provide a breakup of the calculation to the persons, who are interested in obtaining the details thereof.

All this must be done preferably within a timeframe of six months from the date of production of a copy of this Order.

Contempt Application is disposed off.
