This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent authorities to appoint the petitioners on the post of Assistant Teachers in Economics and connected reliefs.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that this Court has already granted relief in similar matter with regard to Assistant Teachers in the subject of Mathematics and Biology and the present petitioners are similarly situated except that their claim in with regard to the subject of Economics. He further submits that they are entitled to relief in view of the State Litigation Policy of 2011 which provides that relief should be granted by the authorities to similarly situated persons without their having to come individually before the Court.
In the above view of the matter, the present writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file fresh representations before the Director, Secondary Education, Patna (Respondent No. 3) within a period of three weeks which if done, should be considered and disposed of in accordance with law and in the light of the earlier decisions of this Court as may be relied upon by the petitioners.
The writ petition stands disposed of.
