Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners stands covered by the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Secretary, State of Karnataka vs. Umadevi and others, reported in (2006) 4 SCC 1.

Let the Divisional Forest Officer, Nawada Division, District Nawada (Respondent no. 6) to consider the case of the petitioners in the light of the aforesaid judgment and dispose of the matter within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
