2 04-09-2012 The grievance of the petitioner is that in high-handed manner and without any substantive case, the S.H.O., Barauli Police Station in the district of Gopalganj has detained his Bolero vehicle bearing Reg. No.BR30P-2203, although he has already sent all the documents in respect of the vehicle to the S.H.O. Learned counsel submits that petitioner moved the C.J.M., Gopalganj who initially ordered for its release, but subsequently dropped the proceeding on the ground that no case was pending in his Court in respect of the same. Hence, the C.J.M. referred the matter to the S.P.

This Court is also of the view that instead of moving here, petitioner should have first approached the S.P., Gopalganj in the matter.

The writ application is accordingly disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to approach the S.P., Gopalganj in the matter who is directed to look into the grievance of the petitioner, get the facts verified and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law immediately.
