2 25-09-2012 Petitioner has filed this writ application for a direction to the Life Insurance Corporation of India (in short ‘LIC’) for release of maturity amount in respect of two policies with bonus, interest, etc.

A counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the LIC, in paragraph 5 of which, it is stated that five documents as mentioned in the paragraph, are required to be submitted by the petitioner and, on submission of those documents, maturity amount shall be released to him.
