Ram Chandra Rai Vs the State of Bihar and Ors.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that super time scale and promotion to the post of Office Superintendent has been granted to the petitioner by orders in 2005. The arrear of differences of salary have also been paid. He claims interest for the delayed payment of such arrears on promotion. It will be open to the petitioner to file a detailed representation in respect of his claim of interest on delayed payment of arrears on his promotion before the District Magistrate, District Sheohar (respondent no.2 ) which is required to be disposed of by respondent no. 2 by a speaking order as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of filing of such representation along with a copy of this order.
