The petitioner has approached this Court with the following

“It is prayed, therefore, that this Hon’ble Court may graciously be pleased to allow the writ petition, with a clear direction to the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Opposite Party No. 3, to consider the representation under Annexure-3 as per the order dated 31.03.2021 passed in W.P.(C) No. 8942 of 2021 for refund of the excess stamp duty collected from the petitioner while registering the lease-cum-sale deed within a stipulated period;

And issue any other Direction (s)/Orders(s) as would be deem fit & proper in the interest of justice

And for this act of your kindness the petitioner as in duty bound shall every pray.”

The writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the Inspector General of Registration (IGR), Odisha, Cuttack (opposite party No.3) to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner, after affording an opportunity of hearing to him within four weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
