1. As has been noted by order dated 9.3.2026 the earlier counsel had given consent for engaging any other counsel on behalf of the petitioner.

Today the matter being in the list is taken up. It is submitted by Mr. S. Jena that he has filed Vakalatnama on 26.11.2019. He files copy of the computerized acknowledgement slip of Filing Counter along with copy of Vakalatnama. Apparently for some reason said Vakalatnama has not been tagged to the brief and name of Mr. Jena has not been indicated.

Copy of the acknowledgement slip along with copy of unstamped Vakalatnama duly executed by the petitioner shall be taken on record.

2. Memo of date is filed by the learned counsel Mr. Jena annexing copy of the office order issued by the Government through the Under Secretary to the Govt., Department of Higher Education dated 7.1.2014. The memo states thus :

“During pendency of the writ application, the petitioner was transferred from R.N.College, Barbil to Karanjia College, Karanjia vide letter dated 03.01.2014 and against the vacancy caused due to the transfer of the petitioner, the service of the opp. no.4 has already been approved. Hence in view of such development, the prayer made in the present writ petition is no more subsist and accordingly the writ petition may be disposed of as infructuous. Copy of the transfer order of the petitioner and the approval order of the opp. party no.4 is enclosed herewith and the same may be accepted and kept on record.”

Copy of the memo along with the Government order dated 7.1.2014 has been served on the learned AGA.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication before this Court in the writ application.
