Petitioner in this writ petition prays for the following reliefs.

In view of the facts and grounds stated above, the petitioner humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the Opposite Parties to consider and settle the suit land vide C.S. (Sabik) plot No- 2117, Khata No- 1186, Acquired Area AO.04 dec. out of AO. 14 dec. Kisam-Anabadi, Mouza-Guamal, corresponding to M.S. (Hal) Plot No-2203, Khata No- 1263, Acquired Area A0.04 dec. out of AO. 19 dec. Kisam- Anabadi, Mouza-Guamal, corresponding to Con.(Hal) Plot No- 2821, Khata No-1425, Acquired Area A0.04 dec. out of AO. 16 dec. Kisam-Anabadi, Mouza-Guamal, Tahasil-Tihidi, DistBhadrak in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law;

Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.

And, for which act of kindness, the petitioner shall as in duty bound ever pray.”

Upon hearing Mr. Pattanaik, learned counsel for the Petitioner and perusing the averments made in the writ petition, it appears that the Petitioner has encroached upon a piece of Government land.

Mr. Mishra, learned Additional Standing Counsel vehemently objects to the prayer made in the writ petition submitting that an encroacher should not be rewarded with settlement of a piece of valuable government land.
