This writ petition has been filed with the following prayer:

“It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this Writ Petition, notice may be issued to the Opp. Parties to filed their counter and after hearing both sides, an order may be passed directing the General Manager, Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited (MCL), Orient Area, Brajraj Nagar, Dist. Jharsuguda (O.P. No.3) to take legal action against the O.P. No.6, who got service practicing fraud and to pay adequate compensation to the petitioner towards her looser of service through recovery from the retiral benefits of the O.P. No.6.

Petitioner. The Petitioner received compensation for acquisition of her land. But, the same was not adequate. Subsequently, the Petitioner came to know that one, Dhanurjay Sahoo-Opposite Party No.6, styling himself as the husband of the Petitioner, got employment in MCL and has retired in the meantime. The Petitioner had approached the MCL Authorities several times, but to no effect. Thus, finding no other alternative, the Petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

Upon hearing learned counsel for the Petitioner and on perusal of the record, this Court does not find any material, which would suggest that Dhanurjay Sahoo-Opposite Party No.6 got employment in MCL in the capacity of husband of the Petitioner. It, however, reveals from the writ petition that for acquisition of land of the Petitioner, she had received compensation, but not adequate. The Petitioner had not raised any objection immediately with regard to adequate compensation and employment, if she was entitled to. Copies of several representations have been filed along with the writ petition including Pleader’s Notice dated 21^st May, 2025 (Annexure-8). But, in none of the representations any document was enclosed showing that said Dhanurjay SahooOpposite Party No.6 got employment in MCL in the capacity of husband of the Petitioner.

At this stage, Mr. Behera, learned counsel for the Petitioner prays for withdrawal of the writ petition.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn.

Since this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn at the stage of admission, Registry shall communicate this order to the General Manager, Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited (MCL), Orient Area, Brajarajnagar-Opposite Party No.3 forthwith for reference.
