1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel appearing for the Petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Advocate appearing for the StateOpposite Parties. Perused the writ application as well as the documents annexed thereto.

The Petitioner has filed the present writ application with the following prayer:

“It is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Honourable Court may be pleased to give a direction to the Opp. Parties particularly Opp. Party No.1 to extend UGC scale pay to the petitioner with effect from 01.01.1986, further be pleased to give a direction to the Opp. Parties to pay the arrear due to the petitioner.

This Honourable court may also be pleased to pass any other further order/orders, direction/directions, as

deemed fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner draws attention of the Court to her client’s representation dated 20.08.2025, a copy whereof avails at Annexure-3, wherein OP No.1 is requested to do the recalculation of arrears payment, pursuant to letter dated 03.10.2024, and make the payment of differential amount. He submits that if a direction would be given to consider the said representation in a time bound way, her client would be satisfied, if all contentions are kept open.

Learned AGA is agreeable with this proposal.

In the above circumstances, writ petition is disposed of fixing a period of eight weeks for consideration of the subject representation by OP No.1 and to inform the Petitioner the result of such consideration within an outer limit of nine weeks. All contentions are kept open.

Now, no costs.
