Petitioners in this writ petition prays for the following relief:

“It is, therefore, prayed that this Hon'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the writ petition, call for the records and issue “Rule NISI” in the nature of a writ of mandamus/ certiorari or any other writ(s) calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause as to why the letters under Annexure-10 & 11 of the Writ Application issued by the Tahasildar, Kolnara shall not be set aside/quashed and if the opposite parties fail to show-cause or show insufficient cause, to make the said rule absolute in the interest of justice;

And further be pleased to direct the Opposite Party No.7 to provide rehabilitation assistance to the Petitioners within a stipulated time and allowed to purchase the tenement where

they are residing as well as the agricultural land as they are ready to pay the same in the interest of justice;

And pass any other order/orders, direction/directions, writ/writs as this Hon’ble Court deem fit and proper.

And for which act of kindness, the Petitioners shall as in duty bound ever pray;”

Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioners prays for further adjournment submitting that some documents are required to be filed in support of the case of the Petitioners.

The matter was first listed on 20^th September, 2025 and it was adjourned on the prayer of the learned counsel for the Petitioners. On the adjourned date, i.e. 30^th October, 2025, again a prayer for adjournment was sought for. Entertaining the prayer of learned Counsel for the Petitioners, the matter was adjourned to 9^th December, 2025. On that date, learned counsel for the Petitioners again sought for an adjournment. While granting the prayer, this Court made it clear that no further prayer for adjournment at the instance of the Petitioners shall be entertained on the next date. Today, Mr. Mohanty, learned counsel for the Petitioners prays for further adjournment.
