02. 1 . The petitioner-husband in the marriage has approached this Court challenging the judgment dated 18.07.2022 passed by the learned Judge, Family Court, Bhadrak in Criminal Proceeding No. 27 of 2018. By the said judgment dated 18.07.2022 the petition filed under section 127, Cr.P.C. (since repealed and replaced by pari materia provision contained in Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023) was allowed on contest directing the opposite party in the said case who is the petitioner in the present application to pay ₹2,000/- to the wife in the marriage as monthly maintenance from the date of filing of application i.e. 30.01.2018.

2 . The matter being in the cause list today is mentioned by the learned counsel for the petitioner. Memo of date is filed which states thus :
