1 . This matter is taken up in the 1^st National Lok Adalat, 2026.

2 . The petition involving a matrimonial cause is listed. The parties to the litigation Shri Bhaginath Soren and Smt. Sita Majhi are present in person. In a very welcome development the husband and wife in the marriage have agreed to forget the differences and proceed ahead in their matrimonial life.

3 . The I.A. No.294 of 2026 arising out of CRLREV No.44 of 2023 under Chapter VI, Rule 27(A) of the Orissa High Court Rules has been filed supported by affidavits by the wife as well as the husband. Prayer made in the I.A. is reproduced herein:

“It is therefore prayed that Your Honour may graciously be pleased to pass appropriate order(s) to dispose of the above case on the basis of compromise

effected between the petitioner and the opp. party No.1 on the grounds stated above.

And for this act of our kindness the petitioner and opp. party No.1 as in duty bound shall ever pray.”

4. Memo dated 12.03.2026 has been filed jointly by the petitioner as well as the opposite party. Both the learned counsel for the parties have also signed the memo. The parties are present before this Court. They are identified by their respective learned counsel. They unequivocally stated that they have agreed for closing all the matters pending before various courts. Such a development really encourages the Court, more so in Lok Adalat for achieving peace between the parties particularly in matrimonial causes.

5 . As agreed between the parties, the matter before the various Courts shall be closed.

Certified copy of this order shall be produced before the respective Courts for passing orders in closing/dropping/disposing the pending proceedings, if any. The Court(s) shall not insist for filing of any further affidavit(s)/petition(s) by the parties.

6. The petition is disposed of.
