This CRLMP has been filed for issue of a direction to the Opposite Party No. 2 and 3 to register an FIR on the basis of the complaint dated 27.10.2025 which had been allegedly been submitted before the IIC, Kendrapara Town Police Station.

Mr. S. K. Rout, learned Additional Standing Counsel produces instruction dated 27.01.2026 of the IIC, Town Police Station, Kendrapara where it is stated that a petition was received from DPO Kendrapara from dak and as the petition revealed cognizable case, Kendrapara PS Case No. 14 dated 23.01.2026 has been registerd under Section 331/296/324(4)/115(2)/351(3)/303(2)/3(5) of the BNS and investigation has commenced. The ASI Brundaban Behera visited the spot on 25.01.2026 to enquire into the allegation but the petitioner avoided the I.O and also did not provide his mobile number, for which a notice has been issued to the petitioner to appear before him by 30.01.2026 for recording of his statement

under Section 180 of the BNSS.

In view of this development, no direction is required to be issued for registration of a case.

But in view of the instructions that the petitioner had avoided the I.O, Mr. S. K. Dash, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if the petitioner has not already appeared before the I.O for recording of the statement under Section 180 of the BNSS, he shall do so within 10 days from today.

5. With this observation, the CRLMP is disposed of.
