This CRLMP has been filed by the Petitioner for a direction

to the Opposite Party No.2 to take action on her FIR at Annexure-1

and investigate in the case properly and also take appropriate action

¶23

against the accused persons who are involved in brutal murder of her brother.

I have heard Mr. D.P. Dhal, learned counsel for the Petitioner

and Mr. Amitabh Pradhan, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, and perusing

the case diary and affidavit of the I.O., I am satisfied that the final report has been filed hastily without proper investigation.

Therefore in the interest of justice, the Chandaka P.S. Case No.523 of 2025 should be re-investigated into by the Crime Branch.

Hence, the case diary and the relevant records be handed over

to the Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Bhubaneswar by the IIC, Chandaka Police Station within a period of ten days, for nominating a competent officer to investigate into the case.
