1. The grievance of the Petitioner is that Rs.2,93,920/belonging to the Petitioner has not been returned to him by the Opposite Party No.2 - IIC Cyber Crime and Economic Offences, Kalahandi.

Mr. Panchanan Panigrahi, learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that the Petitioner is the informant in Cyber Crime and Economic Offences, Kalahandi P.S. Case No. 25 of 2024. During investigation Rs.54,93,920/- lakhs in the account of

the accused persons has been frozen. Pursuant to order dated

18.06.2025 passed in CRLMP No. 548 of 2025, an amount of Rs. 52 lakhs has been released by the I.O. But without any justification, the balance amount of Rs.2,93,920/- has not been released. He has submitted an application on 23.07.2025 before the IIC Cyber Crime and Economic Offences, Kalahandi for release of the aforesaid amount.

Perusal of the copies of the letters annexed to the CRLMP reveals that some confusing statements have been made in the said letters, for which the CRLMP is disposed of granting liberty to the Petitioner to file application before the appropriate authority/officer for release of the balance amount of Rs.2,93,920/-.

It is made clear that this Court has gone into the merits of the plea of the Petitioner regarding release of the amount of Rs.2,93,920/-.
