1. This matter is taken up through Hybrid Arrangement (Virtual /Physical Mode).

Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

It is stated by learned counsel for the Petitioner that as against order dated 23.12.2022 the State-Opposite Parties preferred SLP before the Hon’ble Supreme Court which was heard along with the lead matter by Hon’ble the Supreme Court in SLP(C) No.2146 of 2024 in State of Odisha and others vs. Sudhansu Sekhar Jena , the SLP preferred by the State has been allowed with certain direction vide order dated 21.02.2025.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner at this juncture contended that there was direction to pay Rs.1.5 lakh to each of the Petitioner

however the same has not been complied with.

Learned counsel for the State sought for four weeks’ time to ensure that the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court is complied with.

Considering such submission, the Opposite Parties/Contemnors shall be granted four weeks’ time as last chance to ensure that the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court is implemented in its letter and spirit. Failing which, the Opposite Parties/Contemnors shall be asked to appear before this Court to explain as to why they shall not be proceeded against under the provision of Contempt of Court’s Act.

With the aforesaid observation, the contempt proceeding is disposed of.

While disposing the present contempt application, liberty is granted to the Petitioner to revive this application in the event the order remains non-complied.
