The Petitioners are accused in connection with G.R. Case No.817 of 2025 pending on the file of learned JMFC, Sorada, Ganjam arising out of Sorada P.S. Case No.412 of 2025 for commission of offence alleged under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of BNS, 2023.

The prosecution case, in brief, is that on 09.10.2025 at about 11:15 A.M., the informant lodged an FIR under Sections 103(1) and 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 stating that his father, Shishir Muni (also referred to as Sisira Muni), was in the habit of creating disturbances at home and often stayed

outside, sustaining himself by begging. On the same day, early in the morning at about 4:30 A.M., a villager, Siba Suar, received a phone call from a youth of village Gochha under Sorada Police Station, informing him that Sisira Muni was lying dead at Swargadwar of village Gochha.

Upon receiving the information, the informant, along with his family members, rushed to the spot and came to know that on 09.10.2025, the villagers of Gochha, namely Siba Pathi and Jitun Parida, had allegedly assaulted his father with the intention to commit murder, as a result of which Sisira Muni succumbed to the injuries.

Learned counsel, on instruction, submits that except the present BLAPL, no other bail application of the Petitioner relating to the aforementioned P.S. case is pending in any other Court. 5. Being aggrieved by the rejection of his application for bail U/s.483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Bhanjanagar, Ganjam by order dated 22.01.2026 in the aforementioned cases, the present BLAPL has been filed.

Considering the statement of Iswara NayakC.W.14 (eye witness) and others, this Court is not inclined to entertain the bail application of the Petitioners.
