This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner with the following prayer:

“(i) To admit the writ petition.

(ii) To quash the Mutation Case No.4278/2024 under the writ of prohibition (initiated by the Tahasildar, Soro) which is not maintainable in view of Govt. circular dtd. 18.11.1988 and consequential Board of Revenue Instruction dtd. 25.4.1990 and clarificatory letter of the Govt. dtd. 20.12.2016.

(iii) To direct the opposite parties to confirm the earlier settlement of the schedule land as recorded in favour of the petitioner by the implying direction of the Supreme Court dtd. 15.12.2015 passed in Civil Appeal No.7729/2009 and clarificatory letter of the Govt. dtd. 26.12.2016 and the petitioner’s right and possession over the schedule land be protected.

And may pass any other order / orders, direction/directions as deem fit and proper in the interest of justice.”

Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw this writ petition to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
