Petitioner in this writ petition prays for a direction for early disposal of S.A. No.4037 of 2024 pending before the State Information Commission, Bhubaneswar.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the Petitioner that although the appeal under Section 19 (3) of the Right to Information Act, 2005 is pending since 14^th November, 2024, but no step has yet been taken for issuance of notice in the matter to the Respondents. Hence, the Petitioner is seriously prejudiced.

Mr. Dash, learned counsel for the State Information Commission submits that the appeals before the State Information Commission are being taken up serially and the appeal filed by the Petitioner shall be taken up in due course.

Taking note of the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties, this Court without expressing any opinion on the

submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner, disposes of this writ petition with a direction that if there is any urgency in the matter, the Petitioner is at liberty to file an application before the State Information Commission to take up the matter out of turn and in that event, such application may be considered in accordance with law and the Information Commission may proceed with the matter accordingly.
