The Petitioners in this writ petition pray for the following relief:

“ Therefore, under the above facts and circumstances, it is most respectfully prayed that this Hob'ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit this writ application, issue rule NISI calling upon the Opposite Parties to show cause and after hearing the parties be pleased to direct the Opposite Party No.2 to enquire into the matter as per law guidelines of Govt. and to take necessary action on the representation of the petitioners under Annexure-3 series within a stipulated time period;

And may further be pleased to pass such other/ further writ/ writs direction/ directions, order/orders as deem fit & proper in the facts & circumstances of this case for the interest of justice and equity;

And for this act of kindness the Petitioners as in duty bound shall ever pray.”

The grievance of the Petitioners in this writ petition is with regard to the alleged inaction of the Collector and District
