1. Heard learned counsel for the Parties.

By means of this application, the Petitioner seeks the intervention of this Court for a direction to the Opposite Party No.2 for arresting the accused persons involved in the crime and to complete the investigation.

Pursuant to the direction of this Court vide order dated 26.06.2025, Sri Pratap Kumar Sahu the Sub-Inspector of Police, Dhenkanal Town Police Station, Dhenkanal has furnished affidavit giving the details of the manner in which the investigation has been conducted so far in connection with Dhenkanal P.S. Case No.475 of 2023. He has also furnished the Case Diary as directed.

Perusal of the averments in the affidavit as well as in the Case Diary which go in coherence reveals that steps have

been taken to nab the culprit whose identity as well as whereabouts have not yet been traced despite all efforts made from the side of the complainant in procuring documents and the effort of the police from getting all information from different sources. However, it is expected that the Investigating Agency shall proceed further in the investigation with utmost diligence and take all possible steps to see that the culprit is apprehended and to reach in a logical conclusion to the investigation by filing the Final Form, if any within a period of one month, if there be no other legal impediment.

It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion in the merits of this case.
