2 . In filing this Writ Petition, the Petitioner being an encroacher, has sought for a direction from this Court to the Tahasildar, Mahakalapara for settling the land in question in her favour.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that pursuant to the notice to show cause issued by the Tahasildar, Mahakalapara in Encroachment Case No.5318/2023-24, the Petitioner has already submitted her reply vide Annexure-2. He further submits that by way of the said reply the Petitioner has prayed for settlement of the land in question in her favour.

5 . Considering the above submission of learned counsel for the Petitioner, this Court directs the Tahasildar, Mahakalapara to take a lawful decision on the reply of the Petitioner vide Annexure-2 within a period of one month from the date of presentation of an authenticated copy of this order.
