Instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner for a direction to the opposi t e parties to declare and publish provisional and final merit list fo r selection of posts of Asst. Professor o f O & G Department i n the Government Medical College & Hospital, Sundargarh a n d to appoint her in the said post on th e grounds stated therein .

Referri n g to Annexure-1, it is submitted that an advertisemen t for the post was published on 1^st June, 2024, a selection of w hich, was by a walk-in-interview and ac c ordingly, the petitioner with all testimonials appeared before the C onvener, Selection Co m mittee on the date and time fixed. It is further

submitted that other candidates did not bring the origi n al service certificate for which the walk-in-interview was deferre d without selection, h e nce, there is a serious procedural i r regularity committed b y the Selection Committee as again s t which representatio n s under Annexures-4 & 5 were submitted but without any r e sult till date.

Mr. P a nigrahi, learned ASC for the State submits that since the grievance is already said to have been before opposite party No.2 by way of representations i.e. Annexures-4 & 5, if t he Court is so incline d , may direct consideration of the same within a stipulated per i od.
