This matter is taken up through hybrid mode in the 3rd National Lok Adalat, 2024.
2. Learned Counsel for the parties files the Joint Compromise Petition indicating therein that parties have arrived at a compromise without any coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute/claim at Rs.3,50,000/- (Rupees three lakhs fifty thousands) towards further consolidated compensation over and above the awarded amount in M.A.C No.73 of 2015. The joint compromise petition is taken on record.
3. On being asked, learned Counsel for the parties submit, after taking consent from their respective clients, they have executed the Joint Compromise Petition.
4. As agreed between the parties, the enhanced amount, as indicated above, shall be deposited by the Insurance Company before the Tribunal in shape of cheque within three months hence. On deposit of such amount, the Tribunal shall disburse the same in favour of the Appellant (Claimant before the Court below) at the earliest, in accordance with law.
