This matter is taken up through hybrid mode in the 3^rd National Lok Adalat, 2024.

2. Ms. A. Mohanty, learned Counsel is present and submits she has been instructed by the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, O.S.R.T.C., Bhubaneswar (Opposite Party No.1) to represent the Corporation. She files Vakalatnama duly executed in her favour by the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, O.S.R.T.C., Bhubaneswar. The same is taken on record.

3. A Joint Compromise Petition has been filed by the learned Counsel for the parties indicating therein that parties have arrived at a compromise without any coercion and undue influence and settled the dispute/claim at Rs.6,00,000/(Rupees six lakhs) towards further consolidated compensation, over and above the awarded compensation in Misc. Case No.62 of 2000. The Joint Compromise Petition is taken on record.

4. On being asked, learned Counsel for the parties submit, after taking consent from their respective clients, they have executed the Joint Compromise Petition.

5. As agreed between the parties, the amount, as indicated above, shall be deposited by the Corporation before the Tribunal in shape of cheque within eight weeks hence. It is made clear that 60% of the enhanced amount be kept in fixed deposit scheme in the name of the Appellant (Claimant before the Court below) in any nationalized bank for a period of six years and rest 40% of the amount be disbursed in her favour at the earliest, in accordance with law.
