Heard learned counsel for the Petitioner. Perused the Writ Petition as well as the documents annexed thereto.

The present Writ Petition has been filed with the following

In view of the above facts and circumstances the Petitioner therefore prays before this Hon’ble Court may graciously be pleased to admit the Writ Petition.

a) To issue notice to the opposite Parties.

b) To call upon the Opposite Parties to file show cause why this Writ Petition will not be allowed.

c) To direct the Opp.Parties to publish the sixth/final semester result of the Petitioner and to issue her degree certificates.

d) And or pass any other writ(s) as this Hon’ble Court may deem just and proper.

And for this act of kindness the Petitioner as in duty bound shall ever pray.”

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that

although the Petitioner appeared as a student of Panchayat Degree College, Dharamgarh under the Sambalpur University in +3 Science 6^th Semester Examination held in the year 2019, however, it is alleged that the final result has not been published and the Petitioner has not been issued with the final degree certificate by the Opposite Party-University. It is further contended by the learned counsel for the Petitioner that the Principal of the College has already written a letter to the Controller of Examination, Sambalpur University, Opposite Party No.3 on 07.07.2022. However, no decision has been taken by the Opposite Party No.3 on the letter of the Principal of the College concerned as of now.

Considering the limited nature of prayer, this Court deems it proper to dispose of the Writ Petition by directing Opposite Party No.3 to examine the letter dated 07.07.2022 under Annexure-4 written by the Principal, Panchayat College, Dharamgarh to do the needful as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks. Further, the status of the result of the letter under Annexure-4 be communicated to the College as well as to the Petitioner by Opposite Party No.3 within two weeks from the date of taking such decision. It is needless to mention here that in the event the Petitioner has secured the pass mark then necessary degree certificate be also supplied to the Petitioner forthwith preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of taking such decision.

With the aforesaid observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of.
