The Petitioner is in custody since 2^nd May, 2022 in connection with Malkangiri P.S. Case No.236/2022 corresponding to Spl.G.R. Case No.69/2022 pending in the court of learned Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Malkangiri.

It is alleged that the Petitioner was in possession of contraband ganja weighing 90 kgs.800 grams when he was

apprehended by Police. It is submitted that the statutory formalities of search and seizure was complied with. Moreover, the Petitioner has in the meantime been spent one and half years in custody trial has not concluded as yet.

Considering the submission as above, I am inclined to allow the prayer for bail. Let the Petitioner be released on bail on such terms and conditions as may be imposed by the Court in seisin over the matter in the aforesaid case including the condition that he shall appear before the court below on each date of posting of the case without fail.

The BLAPL is disposed of.
