The petitioners are apprehending arrest in connection with Rupsa P.S. Case No. 91 of 2023 corresponding to C.T. case No. 675 of 2023 pending in the court of the learned JMFC(Rural), Balasore.

It is alleged that the petitioners who are the in-laws of the informant subjected her to cruelty in connection with demand for dowry.

Considering the nature of accusations and also the materials on record, while not being inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the

petitioners, the ABLAPL is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioners to surrender before the court below within a week from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and to move for bail. In such event, they shall be released on bail on such terms and conditions as the court below may deem fit and proper to impose. It is clarified that this order shall be operative only if the injury sustained by the injured is found to be simple in nature.

The ABLAPL is accordingly disposed of.
