The Petitioner, by filing this application, has prayed for a direction to the Opposite Parties (in particular Opposite Party No.2) to take up the hearing of the Appeal filed by him in questioning the final assessment order dated 28.11.2019 and dispose of the same early in accordance with law.
Learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that although the Petitioner has presented the Memorandum of Appeal observing all the required formalities as provided in law, the same is neither being numbered nor taken up for hearing and in the meantime the progress is made to disconnect the electric supply. In view of the above, he prays for disposal of this writ application with appropriate direction.
Considering the submissions made and on going through the averments taken in this petition, at this stage, the writ application stands disposed of with a direction to the Opposite Party No.2 to take up the hearing of the Appeal, if it has been so filed by the Petitioner and is pending for its expeditious disposal in accordance with law.
Issue urgent certified copy of this order as per rules.
