Heard Mr. K.C. Nayak, learned counsel for the petitioners.
The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the opposite parties to consider their representation for grant of compensation due to electrocution death of the husband of petitioner no.1 and father of petitioners no.2 and 3 by the negligence of the opposite parties.
As it appears the petitioners have made Tata Electricity Power Distribution (North Division), Kuakhia Electrical Division as party to the writ petition, against whom the writ petition is not maintainable before this Court. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to pursue their remedy before the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
