Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the State opposite parties to promote the petitioners to the post of Level-V(B) from the date the said private opposite parties were promoted, i.e., on 17.11.2020 and extend all financial and consequential benefits admissible under law with seniority to the petitioners over the said private opposite parties in the Level-V(B) cadre, by quashing Annexure-5 dated 17.11.2020.

In course of hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners states that highlighting the grievance, the petitioners have made representation to the opposite party no.1 vide Annexure-6, and direction be given to the said opposite party to consider and dispose of the same.

In view of the aforesaid limited grievance of the petitioners, this Court disposes of the writ petition directing the opposite party no.1 to take a decision on the representation filed by the petitioners vide Annexure-6 and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, keeping in view Annexure-4 series, within a period of three months from the date of production of certified/authenticated copy of this order by the petitioners.

As COVID-19 pandemic situation is continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s official website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25.03.2020.
