Heard Mr. Debasis Tripathy, learned counsel for the Petitioner, Mr. Manoj Kumar Khuntia, learned Additional Government Advocate for the State and Mr. A. Das, learned counsel appearing for the National Highway Authority of India.

The sole grievance of the Petitioner is to issue direction to the opposite party no.3- Special Land Acquisition Authority-cum-Authorized Officer for National Highway Land Acquisition, Sambalpur, to consider and dispose of the claim petition of the petitioner dated 14.01.2017 within a stipulated time period and to pay just and proper compensation.

Keeping in view the facts of the case, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to make a motion before the Opposite Party No.3- Special Land Acquisition Authority-cum-Authorized Officer for National Highway Land Acquisition, Sambalpur for early disposal of the claim petition dated 14.01.2017, within a period of fifteen days regarding the acquisition of Plot No.2540, corresponding to Sabik Plot No.1353 of Mouza/P.S/TahasilJamankira, Dist.-Sambalpur Measuring Area Ac.0.20 decimals. On such event, the Opposite Party No.3- Special Land Acquisition Authority-cum-Authorized Officer for National Highway Land Acquisition, Sambalpur shall dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of production of certified copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition.
