Additional Government Advocate for the State.

The petitioner is stated to be the son of an ex-service man.

¶5

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that, recommendation was made by the appropriate Government to settle some lands in favour of late Damadar Samantaray, father of the petitioner under ex-service man quota. During pendency of the recommendation, the father of the petitioner having expired, the petitioner has come forward for settlement of the land.

In this regard, the petitioner is stated to have filed a representation, vide Annexure-4 before the Director of Estates, Government of Odisha- Opposite Party No.3, which is stated to be still pending.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, the writ petition is disposed of directing the Director of Estates, Government of Odisha- Opposite Party No.3 to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, vide Annexure-4 in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this Order. 7. The petitioner is directed to supply a copy of the writ petition containing all the annexures along with a certified copy of this Order to the Opposite Party No.3 for convenience & reference to Annexure-

1. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. 9. Urgent certified copy of this Order be granted as per rules.
