Heard Mr. N. Lenka, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the order dated 13.10.2020 under Annexure-4 passed by opposite party no.3-Superintendent of Police, Koraput dismissing the petitioner from service.
Mr. A. R. Dash, learned Additional Government Advocate raised preliminary objection with regard to maintainability of the writ petition contending that the against the order of dismissal passed by the Superintendent of Police, Koraput, appeal lies to the appellate authority.
In that view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to entertain this writ petition. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to prefer appeal before the appellate authority in accordance with law.
With the above observation, the writ petition is
disposed of.
As the restrictions due to resurgence of COVID-19 situation are continuing, learned counsel for the parties may utilize a print out of the order available in the High Court’s website, at par with certified copy, subject to attestation by the concerned advocate, in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587 dated 25th March, 2020, as modified by Court’s notice no. 4798 dated 15th April, 2021.
