According to Mr. Kundu, the petitioner is a victim of threat calls and filthy abuses received over phone. Further the accused person is regularly sending her obscene messages and has uploaded her obscene photographs. Though, the petitioner has approached the Superintendent of Police, C.I.D., C.B., Cyber Crime Police Station, Cuttack (opposite party no.3) for redressal of her grievances, however he submits that liberty may be granted to the petitioner to move the said opposite party afresh by filing a comprehensive grievance petition and opposite party no.3 be directed to take a decision on such petition within a specific time period.

Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Superintendent of Police, C.I.D., C.B., Cyber Crime Police Station (opposite party no.3) within two weeks by Registered Post along with copy of this order. In the event, the above Officer receives the grievance petition of the petitioner, he is directed to take a decision on the same in accordance with law within four weeks keeping in mind the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of Lalita Kumari Vs. State of U.P. & Others reported in AIR 2014 SC 187 and communicate the result of such exercise to the petitioner.

The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
