2 12.02.2021 Heard Mr. S.P. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K.K.Gaya, learned Addl. Standing Counsel through video conferencing mode.
At the outset on oral prayer of Mr. Das, he is permitted to implead the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vani Vihar, Bhubaneswar as opposite party no.4. Office is directed to make necessary correction in the cause title.
According to Mr. Das, the petitioner is aggrieved by the tardy manner in which the investigation is going on in connection with Khandagiri P.S. Case No.846 dated 17.12.2020. During course of hearing, Mr. Das submits that liberty be granted to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.4) for rerdressal of his grievances.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion either way, this Court grants liberty to the petitioner to approach the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bhubaneswar (opposite party no.4) by filing a grievance petition along with copy of this order through registered post within a period of two weeks. In the event such a motion is made, the opposite party no.4 is directed to proceed with same in accordance with law.
The CRLMP is accordingly disposed of.
