JUSTICE BISWAJIT MOHANTY ORDER 25.08.2021 This matter is taken up by video conferencing mode. Heard Mr. Panda, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr. N. Maharana, learned Addl. Standing Counsel (Vigilance). According to Mr. Panda, grievance of the petitioners in this case mainly hinges around the various calculations made by the Vigilance authorities in arriving at the figure of disproportionate assets vis-à-vis them. In this connection, he submits that the petitioner no.1 has filed representations under Annexure-4 dated 18.09.2020 and Annexure-5 dated 23.11.2020 highlighting all his points as to how no case of disproportionate assets exists so far as they are concerned. Accordingly, he prays that a direction be issued to the Investigating Officer vis-à-vis Balasore Vigilance P.S. Case No.15 of 2020 to take a decision on the above noted representations within a specific time period.
Considering the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the Investigating Officer in connection with Balasore

Vigilance P.S. Case No.15 dated 04.06.2020 to take a decision on the above noted representations under Annexures- 4 and 5 as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. The petitioners are directed to cooperate in the proceeding.
