this petition under Annexure-3 series, wherein it is stated that due to misunderstanding, he had lodged the FIR, but in the meantime, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties and that his sister (victim) committed suicide by hanging herself from a guava tree in the backyard of her matrimonial home.
In the case of Bhagaban Rout (supra), this Court was dealing with a case involving offence under Sections 363/366/506 read with Section 34 of IPC. The case of Bhagaban Rout involves a matrimonial dispute, which was settled, for which this Court quashed the criminal proceedings.
