ABLAPL No.16415 of 2020
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the State.
The petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Special G.R. Case No.137 of 2019 arising out of Nimapara P.S. Case No.247 of 2019 pending in the court of Addl. Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge, Nimapara registered for alleged commission of offences punishable under Sections 147/ 148/ 341/ 294/ 323/ 307/ 427/379/506/149 IPC read with Section 3(1)(r)(s) of the SC & ST (PA) Act have filed this petition for their release on pre-arrest bail.
It appears that the petitioners had earlier approached this in ABLAPL No.14955 of 2019, which was disposed of on 15.11.2019 on merit.
In view of the prohibition under Section 18 of the S.C. & S.T. (PoA) Act, I am not inclined to entertain this ABLAPL.
Accordingly, the ABLAPL stands dismissed.
