The petitioner having been implicated in G.R. Case No.1318 of 2020 arising out of Angul P.S. Case No.819 of 2020 registered for alleged commission of offence under sections 379/294, I.P.C. pending in the court of learned S.D.J.M., Angul has filed this application under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
Considering the submission, viewing the nature of accusations and other surrounding circumstances of the case, while being not inclined to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner, this application is disposed of with the observation that in the event the petitioner surrenders before the court in seisin of the case within two weeks hence and moves for his release on bail, the same shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by this order and disposed of early in accordance with law.
