This matter is taken up through video conferencing. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners.
The petitioners in this writ petition challenges the action of the opposite parties in not allowing them to apply pursuant to the advertisement made on 27.11.2020 under Anenxure-3 for recruitment to the post of Nursing Offcer. According to learned counsel for the petitioners, since the result of petitioners in B.Sc. (Nursing) Course was declared at a belated stage, the petitioners could not be able to resister themselves, for which they could not apply pursuant to the said advertisement.
Since the schedule date has already been fixed and numbers of candidates have already applied as per the schedule fixed by the Odisha Sub Ordinate Staff Selection Commission in the advertisement, at this stage, this Court is not inclined to accede to the prayer made by the petitioners in this writ petition by changing the schedule fixed in the advertisement.
It is open to the petitioners to register themselves first and thereafter approach the authorities for redressal of their grievance.
The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
