This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
Grievance of the petitioner involved in this writ petition is for non-release of his salary for non-receipt of Last Pay Certificate. It is also submitted that the petitioner is suffering from COVID-19 and is facing immense difficulties in maintaining himself as well as his family members.
Considering a serious lapse in the side of the administration, this Court in disposal of the writ petition directs the opposite parties to make the last pay certificate with the present Drawing & Disbursing Authority of the petitioner available within a period of 7 days. As a consequence of receipt of the Last Pay Certificate of the petitioner, this Court further directs the Drawing & Disbursing Authority to release the admitted salary of the petitioner within a period of 15 days thereafter.
As lockdown period is continuing for Covid-19, learned counsel for the petitioner may utilise the soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copy in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notification No.4587 dated 25.3.2020.
