This matter is taken up through Video Conferencing due to Lockdown in the wake of Pandemic COVID-19.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed a representation vide Annexure-7 before the District Education Officer, Sonepur-opposite party no.3 for publication of final gradation list, after correction of the date of appointment etc. The said representation is stated to be still pending before the opposite party no.3.

Regard being had to the facts and submissions and the nature of relief sought for, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the District Education Officer, Sonepur-opposite party no.3, to dispose of the representation of the petitioner vide Annexure-7 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order or true copy available in the Orissa High Court website. If necessary, opportunity of personal hearing shall be afforded to the petitioner.

Till finalization of the representation of the petitioner vide Annexure-7, the gradation list in question shall not be finalized and published.

The petitioner is directed to supply a copy of the writ application along with all the annexures including the certified copy of this order or true soft copy available in the Orissa High Court website before the opposite party no.3 for convenience and reference to Annexure-7.

The writ application is accordingly disposed of.

As Lock-down period is continuing for COVID-19, learned counsel for the petitioner may utilize the true soft copy of this order available in the High Court’s website or print out thereof at par with certified copies in the manner prescribed, vide Court’s Notice No.4587, dated 25.03.2020.
