This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner Parbati Sandibigraha inter alia with the prayer that the opposite party no.1 may be directed to consider and dispose of her representation dated 08.05.2019 (Annexure-7) in the context of letter dated 02.07.2018 issued by the Collector, Jajpur-opposite party no.3 under Annexure-6 for granting renewal of license in respect of IMFL “OFF Shop” Jajpur Town-II in favour of the petitioner after providing opportunity of hearing to her within a stipulated time.
3. Considering the limited nature of prayer but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the writ petition by directing the Secretary to Government, Department of Excise, Government of Odisha-opposite party no.1 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 08.05.2019 (Annexure-7) in accordance with law by a speaking and reasoned order within a period of two months from the date of production of copy of this order, if the same is still pending.
